Stockholm Gaels are a GAA club located in the Swedish capital, mainly playing the Irish sport of Gaelic football. The club has both men’s and ladies’ football teams and players are also able to play hurling with the Viking Gaels, who represent the whole of Scandinavia
The club was founded in 2009 and began competing in 2010. We welcome all new-comers, regardless of nationality or ability. If you would like to join our team, please contact us or come down to one of our training sessions.
In our short club history there are alot of success stories.
- Our men winning six Nordic Championship titles from 2010 – 2013, 2015 and 2017.
- Our ladies also winning four Nordic Championship in 2012, 2015 – 2017 and 2019.
- Both teams have also competed at a European level.

The club has been the subject of a book written by chairman Philip O’Connor and an award-winning RTE radio documentary produced by Pat O’Mahony.
